Merry Christmas everyone (or happy holidays)! I hope you’re enjoying December and that your hearts are filled with a festive feeling. Today, I thought I’d share with you how I’ve decorated my window for this Christmas. Am I the only one who’s just a little bit tired of forest green and berry red when it comes to Christmas decor? Don’t get me wrong, the colours make me feel so incredibly festive, but I just don’t really want my own room to look like that. It took me a long time to work out, how I wanted to decorate my room for Christmas this year, however, I feel like I’ve done such a great job. I know style and taste is so different for everyone, and you might look at my decorations and pictures and think, that I have the most awful taste ever and that’s okay. Although hopefully, some of you like my taste and enjoy my aesthetic. I hope you enjoy! ❤
For this year, I’ve bought some coloured candle sticks as I thought they looked really cool. You can buy these types of candles pretty much anywhere, however, mine are from Søstrene Grene and costed £0.33 (absolute bargain). I also bought some glass holders for them, because I liked that the candle were the main focus and not the holders. I’ve got a garland made out of pine cones and then I’ve twisted some fairy lights around it to make it look extra christmassy and cosy. In a vase I’ve got some foliage from the forrest, which I just took home with me (super easy, super fun and super cheap). I’ve then got a gold tray from HAY and a souvenir which my boyfriend, Casper, got me when he was in Barcelona (it’s a snow globe, so very fitting for Christmas).
In this picture, we have my beloved polar bear sculpture. I’ve been wanting this for years and then my boyfriend got it for me for our anniversary. It’s vintage and I’m honestly not even sure who used to make them, but, I’m sure you can search it.
I also got a tiny Christmas tree this year! I’m SO happy about it because it’s just the perfect size and just what I wanted. CUTE!!
I REALLY hope you enjoyed this short little post, and that you’ve got some inspiration. Please let me know, how you like to decorate your room/flat/house for Christmas? I would honestly LOVE to know! Until next festive post, I hope you’ll have a lovely December. I know Christmas this year is going to be very different because of COVID (isn’t everything just because of COVID this year? GOD I’m ready for 2021). So even though, many of you won’t be able to see you families, I still hope you’ll find joy and peace during this time of the year. You all deserve to have a nice time!
Lots of love
