Happy Sunday lovelies! I hope you’re having a great one so far. For today’s post I’ve collected all my resent book purchases from Holland and an online order from saxo.com (unfortunately they only ship in Denmark) Personally I absolutely love book ‘hauls’ because it’s the PERFECT way to get some book inspiration. And although I havn’t read any of the books just yet, I’m sure you’ll still find this post both helpfull and inspiring in terms of which books to purchase. So, if all that sounds just great to you, then I’ll recommend you keep on scrolling!

” On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today.
Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they’re both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There’s an app for that. It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day “
The sound of this book really spoke to me. Like just try and think of the fact that you will die tomorrow – what would you do? Also, the book has got some great reviews, so I’m really looking forward to reading this.
” Vivian Carter is fed up. Fed up with sexist dress codes. Fed up with gross comments from guys during class. Fed up with her high school teachers who let it happen! But most of all, Viv is fed up with always following the rules. Viv’s Mum was a punk rock Riot Grrrl, inspiring Viv to create MOXIE, a feminist zine that she distributes anonymously to her classmates. She’s just blowing of steam, but other girls respond and begin to spread the MOXIE message; MOXIE GIRLS FIGHT BAKC! And before Viv knows it, she has started a girl revolution “
I mean if that doesn’t sound like the most inspiring and motivating book ever – then I don’t know what does. I am SO looking forward to reading this, I absolutely love the idea of starting a girl revolution at your own school – and that it’s bringing all the girls together.
” A boy drowns, desperate and alone in his final moments. He dies. Then he wakes, naked and bruised and thirsty, but alive. How can this be? And what is this strange deserted place?
As he struggles to understand what is happening, the boy dares to hope. Might this not be the end? Might there be more to this life, or perhaps this afterlife? “
So, in terms of young adult books this doesn’t really sound like ya’ classic ‘Fault In Our Stars’ does it? However, when I picked it up and read the back of it I was like; “Well, that’s definitely going in my basket – ASAP!” I think this is going to be one of those books that really changes your perspective on things and look at things differently. GOSH I CAN’T WAIT!

” Can you plan happiness? It’s been a year since Paige’s first boyfriend died in a swimming accident and it’s time she rejoined the real world. So she makes a plan: 1) Date a boy (long-standing crush Ryan Chase seems like the perfect choice) 2) Attend parties (with best friends by your side: doable) 3) Join a club (simple enough, right?) 4) Travel (might as well dream big) 5) Swim (terrifying. Impossible) But when she meets Ryan’s sweet (but so nerdy) cousin, Max, he opens up her world and Paige’s plans start to change… Is it too late for a second chance at life? “
As far as I remember then this is a part of one of Zoella’s bookclubs. I’ve already read a lot of them and they’ve all been truly great. In fact a lot of the books I’ve bought are from Zoella’s bookclubs.

” Eleanor is the new girl in town, and with her chaotic family life, her mismatched clothes and unruly red hair, she couldn’t stick our more if she tried. Park is the boy at the back of the bus. Black T-shirts, headphones, head in a book – he think he’s made himself invisible. But not to Eleanor… never to Eleanor. Slowly, steadily, through late-night conversations and an ever-growing stack of mixed tapes, Eleanor and Park fall for each other. They fall in love the way you do the first time, when you’re young, and you feel as if you have nothing and everything to lose ”
A few friends have actually recommended this book to me. And I do love Rainbow Rowell’s other books – so I’m hopefully gonna enjoy this one as well. We’ll see…
” I regret to inform you that I have had to take my own life. This decision has been a long time coming, and was mine alone to make. I know it will cause you pain, and for that I am sorry, but please know that I needed to end my own pain. This has nothing to do with you and everything to do with me. It’s not your fault. – Meg
Cody and Meg were inseparable – best friends for life. They knew everything about each other. Or Cody thought they did. But how well do you ever really know your best friend? And what do you do when they choose to leave you behind?”
This just sounds like such a good read judging by the back of the book. And I will almost guarantee you that I’ll cry at least 500 times. Like it sounds really sad, but also like such a beautiful story.

” Love is never easy. Especially if you’re PAUL. He’s a sophomore at a high school like no other – and these are he’s friends – INFINITE DARLENE: the homecoming queen and star quarterback. JONI: Paul’s best friend who may not be his best friend anymore. TONY: his other best friend, which can’t leave the house unless he’s going on a date… with a girl. KYLE: The ex-boyfriend who won’t go away. And NOAH… the boy who changes everything. “
Not gonna lie, the cover was definitely what sold it to me – and then the sound of the story line. It’s absolutely beautiful! And when I did a bit of research people seem to really love it!

” When Griffin’s first love and ex-boyfriend, Theo, dies in a drowning accident, his universe implodes. Even though Theo had moved to California for college and started seeing Jackson, Griffin never doubted Theo would come back to him when the time was right. But now, the future he’s been imagining for himself has gone far off course.
To make things worse, the only person who truly understands his heartache is Jackson. But no matter how much they open up to each other, Griffin’s downward spiral continues. He’s losing himself in his obsessive compulsions and destructive choices, and the secrets he’s been keeping are tearing him apart. ”
I think this showed up in the ‘ other’s also looked at… ‘ section on saxo.com – so I thought well let’s give this one a go as well. Adam Silvera also wrote ‘ They both die at the end’ so I’m hoping he’s a good writer. And again, this is also a part of Zoella’s bookclubs.

” Pearl’s job is to make people happy. Every day, she provides customers with personalized recommendations for greater contentment. She’s good at her job, her office manager tells her, successful. But how does one measure an emotion?
Meanwhile, there’s Pearl’s teenage son, Rhett. A sensitive kid who has forged an unconventional path through adolescence, Rhett seems to find greater satisfaction in being unhappy. The very rejection of joy is his own kind of “pursuit of happiness.” As his mother, Pearl wants nothing more than to help Rhett—but is it for his sake or for hers? Certainly it would make Pearl happier. Regardless, her son is one person whose emotional life does not fall under the parameters of her job—not as happiness technician, and not as mother, either. “
If you’ve read my first ‘Recent Book Purchases’ then you’ll have heard me speak of the author Meik Wiking. He’s the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen. His job is to find out what make’s people happy – which is basically my dream job. So, when I spotted this book in a store in The Hauge – I was like; Does this say Karen on it? Because this sounds like a book written for me.
So that’s all I’ve got for you, lovelies. I know this was quite a long post – but I hope you still enjoyed it. If so, feel free to give this post a like. In the comments section please let me know:
Have you read any of these books yet? Have you read anything of the authors before? What are your recent book purchases? & Did you like the way I took and edited these photos?
I post every single Sunday, so if you don’t wanna miss out on that please make sure to follow my blog or subscribe with your e-mail. Until next Sunday; I hope you’ll have a wonderful week!
