Beauty Purchases of London

Good afternoon lovelies. Today it’s Sunday, and I’ve got a brand new post for you. If you’ve followed my blog for a little while now, you will know that I am obsessed with anything beauty. However for some reason I appear not to do that many beauty related posts. I think the reason is that there’s SO MANY other beauty bloggers out there, so I feel like my beauty-content would just disappear in the sea. But, I thought: “Hey, since I’ve just been to London and bought a rather big amount of beauty products. I might as well do a haul showing you guys”. So that’s what’s on today’s program – Enjoy!

NARS | sHeeR gLow fOuNdaTion

Like you and the rest of the world, I’ve heard so much about this specific foundation. And I’ve been wanting it for years, so when we I spotted the NARS sign I actually gasped of exitment. I’ve already tried it and let me just say that it’s hands down the best foundation I’ve ever owned. Like it just make your skin glow in such a natural way, and it covers all the little bumps and blemishes which I’m so blessed to have…. NOT.

NARS | raDiaNt cReaMy coNceaLeR

Like the foundation I’ve a) Been wanting it for ages b) Absolutely obsessed with it. It covers my blemishes so well and the same goes with good old eye bags. Another thing is, that you only need the tiniest amount, which both me and my bank account is thankful for.

NARS | hiGhLigHtiNg bLuSh iN ‘hOt saNd’

2016 and -17 was like the years of ‘I-will-blind-all-my-haters-with-the-extreme-amount-of-glitter-on-my-cheeck-bones’. And don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that a makeup product can boost someone’s confidence. However, I’ve never really been into the extreme amount of highlighter. Long story short, when the ever so lovely makeup artist used this highlighter on me, I was like: “Well, if I leave without that product in my hand, I’m not who I thought I was”. So instead of having an identity crisis at the NARS store, I opted for the product – ha ha. This is so far the prettiest and most natural highlighter I’ve ever seen and owned.

NARS | bLuSh iN ‘mAdLy’

Yup, I know I went a little cray-cray in the NARS store, I am very well aware. But I can’t get NARS just around the corner, so I thought I’d just buy a little bit of everything. This blush is like a bronzer and blusher all in one. It gives you the sun kissed look of a bronzer and the ‘I-like-running’-look of a blusher (ha ha)

bEneFit | giMmE bRow iN sHaDe 3

No matter who you are, you should own this product. Like no matter if you’ve got brows like Cara Delevingne or your brows ‘survived’ the 90’s. YOU NEED THIS! It makes your eyebrows look thicker but like as if you’ve got more hairs in your brows. Hard to explain, but just trust me on this one – you’re gonna love it!

I feel like I’ve tried a rather good amount of moisturizers now. But they’ve either made me break out or just made my skin go even dryer. However, not with this one. It goes on so smoothly and blends into the skin as if it was butter. The texture is rather thick, which my ‘desert of Sahara skin’ really appreciates.

This mask actually reminds me very much of the Glam Glow one. However, I feel like this works a lot quicker and better. I’ve been wanting a like GOOD face mask in ages, and a mask which would help my teenage skin a little. And this definitely does the job. Like it doesn’t remove blemishes, but it makes the scars go away and in general make my skin look a lot cleaner and ‘fresher’. Go get ya’ some.

(What a long name) Now, for a while I’ve been using an oil as an alternative to a moisturizer because I felt like it was the most hydrating option and it didn’t break my skin out. So I thought I would try another oil. And when I spotted that there was an The Ordinary in Covent Garden I got so happy. First of all this product is A-mazing and secondly it’s SO cheap for an oil made with only one pure ingredient.

I’ve heard SO much about this spray. So when I saw it in Urban Outfitters, I thought I would give it a try. I can’t really say that I’ve noticed any particular change in my skin. Because I’ve been using all these new products and they’ve all made my skin so much better. However, I will say that when my skin feel particular tight and dry I will spray this, and it does make my skin go a lot more chilled. So thumps up for this one.

  1. You are so rich! I want to try Nars’ foundation so badly but my $5 Maybelline works and I already can’t afford myself. I agree with the rosewater spray; it’s refreshing but it doesn’t really do anything, haha! I use it mostly as a setting spray so my powder sets nicely. I hope you have oodles of fun playing with all of your new skincare!

    1. Thank you so much Dom. Haha, I won’t consider myself rich, but I do like to invest in good and luxurious beauty products.
Oh that’s actually I good tip, I’ve always just used it bared faced, but I guess I should start using it as a setting spray ❤ xx Karen

    1. Yup, I know it’s honestly the best concealer I’ve tried so far. And yes, I know I went a bit cray-cray in the NARS store. Like the makeup artist filled my bag with samples because I ended up spending 100£ in there – ups… ❤
