It’s Autumn Time!!!
It’s definitely starting to be a LOT colder outside. Which to some people is annoying, but I LOVE It…
I would say Autumn is my favourite season of all time! And I can’t say one bad thing about it, I mean the food is amazing, everything is cozy, the lovely candles, 100 layers of clothes and last but not least the MAKEUP! You have guessed correct, this is gonna be a Makeup faves for Autumn blogpost.
If you didn’t know autumn makeup is all about: Berry tones, gold and warm browns. In Winter it’s more about cool tones and fair skin, Spring is about all the bright colours and Summer to wear minimum makeup. But let me tell you a secret… I wear Autumn makeup all year around. So don’t think that you can’t wear cool tones in Autumn. Remember:
You Do YOU
As by base I love a light weight foundation, so the Bobbi Brown tinted Moisturizer is just perfect. It gives such a nice “glow” to your skin, but not like a BOOM shimmer all over the place.
I’m a huge fan of Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. It has quit a good coverage, and the lightest shade is perfect for the under eye circles.
To set the base I like to use the Rimmel Stay Mat Powder. It’s great for all skin types!
My Bronzer for Autumn is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in shade 01. This bronzer is very fair, but what I specially like is that you can build it up, without it goes orange or patchy.
For my blusher the Lancóme Blush in the shade 3 Rose Boisé is really good. This blusher is a dark pinkish colour, it has also got tiny little shimmer bits, so your cheeks looks nice and glowy.
I’m obsessed with the Anastasia Beverly Hils brow wiz in the shade Taupe. My only words to this is: Amazing, Snatch, on point and a bit expensive. But defiantly worth the price.
My favourite eyeshadows are properly the MAC ones. MAC do some awsome eyeshadows, they’re pigmented, buttery and blendable. My 4 faves for Autumn are: Naked Lunch, Amber lights, Sable and Swiss Chocolate.
The Mascara I’m using ATM is the Maybeline Lash Sensational. This is my all time fave mascara from the highstreet. Just go’n grab it!
Autumn lips are berry and dark tones. One of the best dark lipsticks in my opinion is the Clarins Rouge Prodige in Mystic Plum. It’s very creamy but not too much. And it has got quit good lasting power, but of cause not like a liquid lipstick or a mat one.
To blend the base products I have a big love to the beauty blender. It makes even the thickest foundation look great. It’s a miracle worker.
One of my top 5 essentials is the MAC eyelash curler. HOLY GOD, it’s the best eyelash curler I have ever tried, and all of my friends agree 😉
Hope you enjoyed my first ever blog post!
